How much has your vocabulary changed over the last year? Who shares the funniest memes with you? And does she find you interesting to chat with? ̶N̶o̶p̶e̶.̶
If you're a Telegram guy, Neplo is that painstakingly data-driven guy who's got answers to these (and hundreds of other) questions, based on your Telegram chat histories.
Still skeptical? Come and see. (John 1:39)
In 2021, Telegram was the most popular messaging app in Armenia. Along with its amazing features and high level of privacy, there's one more thing about Telegram that makes it attractive for a dataphile: it's a home to the conversations we have with people, and one thing for sure, these conversations tell a lot about us. The way we communicate, the words we use and the tone we speak in our everyday chats with friends, coworkers, classmates, etc. can draw interesting, sometimes surprising insights about things we've always wondered about (and things which will wonder us).
In less than a minute, Neplo imports your Telegram chats, analyzes the contents, timestamps, textual and graphical features of the messages sent and received, spitting data-based statistic insights and highlighting dozens of unexpected amazing facts about how you communicate.
Implemented as a summer project for fun, Neplo will be presented with some of its use cases and a brief explanation about how it works. You'll end up knowing how's and why's we analyze a million messages, how an analyzing tool like this is made-- and of course, what can your Telegram tell about you?
